Restore a deleted or expired domain name

You can restore a domain for up to 30 days after it’s been deleted. This includes domains that you manually deleted or that are automatically deleted after their registration expires.

Tips:

  • A one-year registration renewal cost is included with the fee to restore the domain.
  • If your domain expired more than 45 days ago, it may be available for registration. To register it, search for the domain. If it’s available, follow the steps to buy the domain.

How to restore a domain

  1. On your computer, sign in to Google Domains.
  2. Find the name of the domain to be restored.
  3. Click Restore.
  4. To acknowledge that the purchase may be non-refundable, check the box.
  5. To confirm that you want to continue, click Yes, restore.
  6. Continue with the payment.
