Forward your domain to a social site

It is easy to redirect your domain's visitors to any URL on social sites like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

To forward your domain to a social media page
This forwards both WWW and your root domain (for example www.documentationexample.com and documentationexample.com):

  1. Click My domains in the navbar and then click the domain name.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Forward.
  3. In the Forward box, enter your social site page URL (for example, plus.google.com/+google)
  4. Click the Forward button.

Note: It may take several minutes for your changes to propagate. If your destination does not display, check the URL and try again.

To forward a subdomain to a social media page:
  1. Click My domains in the navbar and then click the domain name.
  2. Click the DNS tab .
  3. Scroll down to Synthetic Records.
  4. Select Subdomain forward from the list of synthetic record types.
  5. Enter the subdomain you want to forward and the URL of the social page you want to forward it to.
  6. Click Add to add the record.
