Create a blog on your domain
To create a blog on Blogger:
- On your computer, open Google Domains.
- Sign in with the Google Account that you used to buy your domain.
- Click the domain name that you want to manage.
- Open the menu .
- Click Website Build website.
- Under 'Blog powered by Blogger', click Continue Start with Blogger.
- Follow the directions on Blogger.
Tip: Updates may take up to 48 hours to take effect.
Connect an existing blog to your domain
To connect a blog that already exists to your domain in Blogger, learn how to set up a customised domain.
To connect your blog to your domain in Google Domains:
- On your computer, open Google Domains.
- Sign in with the Google Account that you used to buy your domain.
- Click the domain name that you want to manage.
- Open the menu .
- Click Website Build website.
- Under 'Blog powered by Blogger', click Continue Sign in to existing account.
- Sign in with the same account for both Blogger and Domains.
- Make sure that you're the blog owner or a blog administrator with permission to access the blog. Learn how to control access to your blog.
- Enter the subdomain that you want to use. This is the text to the left of the domain name. For example, in 'www.example.com', the subdomain is 'www'.
- Under Blog, use the down arrow to select the blog that you'd like to connect.
- Optional: To redirect users from 'mydomain.com' to 'www.mydomain.com', select Also redirect [example.com] to [blog name].
- Click Connect blog.
