Host a Wix site on your domain

Use Wix to create an online store, blog, bookings, and more. Important: You must sign up for Wix as part of the creation process.

Create a site

1. On your computer, open Google Domains.
2. Sign in with the Google Account you used to buy your domain.
3. Click the domain name you want to manage.
4. Open the Menu .
5. Click Website Build website  See all partners.
6. Under “Wix,” click Continue Start with Wix.
   • If you have multiple Google Accounts, select the account you used to buy your domain.
7. When “Connect your domain to Wix?” displays, click Yes, connect.
8. After Wix connects your domain to their service, click Go to Wix.
9. To create your site, follow the directions on Wix.

Tip: Updates may take up to 48 hours to take effect. If the domain URL doesn’t load after 48 hours, contact the Wix Help Center.

Connect a site to your domain

1. Open Google Domains.
2. Sign in with the Google Account you used to buy your domain.
3. Click the domain name you want to manage.
4. Open the Menu .
5. Click Website Build website.
   • You won’t build a new site. This is to help you connect to the correct service.
6. Click See all partners.
7. Under “Wix,” click Continue.
8. Click Sign in to existing account.
9. Optional: If you created multiple sites or stores, select the one you want to connect to your domain.
10. Click Connect Domain.
11. After you’re asked if you want to connect your domain to the service, click Yes, connect.
