Effects of suspensions
Domain name suspension: If your domain name has been suspended, end users can’t access your website. If you use your domain name for email purposes, you can’t send or receive email.
Google Domains account suspension: If your Google Domains account has been suspended, you can’t access or modify information in your Google Domains account at domains.google.com.
How to appeal a suspension
We understand the value a domain name can carry with our customers. Customers may appeal a domain or account suspension to seek reinstatement. To appeal a suspension, unless an alternative is otherwise communicated to you, you'll need to contact us. For more on what information you may be asked to provide or actions you may be asked to take, review the steps below.
Site vulnerability auditIf you’re suspended for abuse of the domain name service, such as phishing, spam, or malware, you may have to review your site or email content. This review will help restore your domain name or account and infrastructure. Subjects for review include, but aren't limited to: hosted content, application and DNS services, hosting setup, and security setup.
In some circumstances, you’ll need to provide a report that validates that no vulnerabilities were found from one or more of the following: your hosting company; a third party scanning service; or a self-service vulnerability scanner.
If your domain is suspended due to suspicious payment activity, you may be required to sign in to payments.google.com with your Google account. You may need to complete the verification process indicated in the account alerts.
