Limit of the PDF files to be converted to text using google drives image to text feature

Hi, I had a PDF file. All of it's pages are scanned images from a book. I tried to convert this pdf file in to word, bye converting each page(which is originally image) to text, using google drives image to text feature. The book I was converting had more that 300 pages but google drive was only able to convert first 50-60 pages. Is it possible to convert entire book in to text?

Hi, Sankar,

The file size for conversion needs to be 2MB or less. It sounds like your file has greatly exceeded that limit. Please see this page from the Google Help Center for more information: Convert PDF and photo files to text.

You could try another online conversion app (such as I Love PDF) to see if that works any better for you. Be aware, however, that the file will be converted to .docx format, so you would need to convert that file back to Docs format afterward.
