Assets Overview and Creative Submission
In this section, please see an overview of required and optional assets, our ad policy requirements, and our creative submission process and turnaround times for the mobile video Masthead.

|Headline text*||Required||Text to be used as ad headline below the video thumbnail.||Use the video masthead preview tool for text length recommendations. Suggested limits are approximately 26 characters (single-byte languages) or 13 characters (double-byte languages).|
|Description text*||Optional||Text to be used as ad description.||Use the video masthead preview tool for text length recommendations. Suggested limits are approximately 60 characters (single-byte languages) or 30 characters (double-byte languages).|
|Call to action text*||Optional||Call to action text to be used for destination URL.||
We recommend keeping these short and catchy and clearly indicating where the link will lead.

All URLs should be live before submitting assets. Please use safe characters in the URL, as detailed here.

- Please ensure that all assets for the mobile video Masthead adhere to our Homepage ad policies outlined here.
- YouTube Logo: Advertisers may use the approved YouTube social media exit button and/or use "YouTube" in text as per the YouTube Logo Usage in Ads policy. If using annotations or other interactivity elements on the video, the YouTube logo on the video may only click out to another page within YouTube.
- To use the logo, please request for permission to use Google brand features here.
- For gambling-related ads, note that the advertiser need to be certified using an AdWords account. Please see application here: Gambling application: Single-country license.
Creative Submission and Turnaround Time
- Assets received by YouTube no later than 2 business days prior to campaign start date sent to your Account Manager and Technical Specialist.
- Video thumbnails, channel art and channel icons must be finalized 2.5 days before the campaign launch date, otherwise an older version of the thumbnail may appear during the live campaign
