The participation in CSS program allows you to show your CSS product pages to customers searching for products across Google.
This article outlines the steps you need to take in CSS Center for opting in and out of the participation in this opportunity.
Instructions
Opt in to show your CSS product pages across Google
- Make sure that you are compliant with the minimum requirements to prominently show your CSS product pages on Google.
- In your CSS Center account, click Your business
in the left navigation menu, and then click the Presence on Google tab. To get access to CSS Center, follow CSS program onboarding guide.
- Click the Get started button after you’ve read and accepted the terms of Service.
- You’re now opted in to the opportunity and will be able to show your product pages in free listings and Shopping ads across Google after the onboarding is finished. Follow the instructions displayed on the banner.
- During the onboarding you will need to upload your product data using the API. Learn more about using CSS API.
- Make sure that you keep submitted product data up to date, as it can influence the success and the speed of the review.
Opt out of showing your CSS product pages across Google
- In your CSS Center account, click Your business
- To stop showing your CSS product pages in either free listings or in Shopping ads, click the appropriate button.
- Confirm your selection in the dialog box.
- You’re now opted out of the opportunity, and your CSS product pages will no longer be visible to users searching for products on Google.
Note: You can choose to opt into any of the opportunities at a later stage by clicking "Get started" and following the instructions in the UI.
