Targeted for the end of Q3 2022, Google will launch the pilot phase of Brazil Future Stage Source to Pay Process, an internal initiative to enhance the end-to-end purchasing and accounts payable (AP) process in this country. The goal is to reduce manual intervention, streamline and increase compliance for key processes and provide faster payments for suppliers who do business with Google in Brazil. To support this program, suppliers will be requested to send an XML copy of the fiscal invoice for goods, and when available, for services.
This project allows us to automate key aspects of invoice processing, which means more accurate and timely payment for suppliers! In the pilot phase, one supplier will be invited to experience the new changes. The remaining suppliers will follow on a monthly rolling basis in a second moment (Phase 2) by June’ 23. To learn more, we’ll be hosting supplier info sessions later in both Portuguese and English and know key dates, changes and rollout plan to benefit from this improvement.
