You can download a list of all users in your organization's account, or create a list that's filtered by user attribute, such as status (active or suspended), or by organization. You can either download the users list as a comma-separated value (CSV) file or a JSON file, or export it to a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
To complete these steps, you need the appropriate User management privilege. Without this privilege, you won't see all the controls needed to complete these steps.
Download a users list

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).
- In the Admin console, go to Menu DirectoryUsers.
- (Optional) To filter the Users list, do one of the following:
- To filter by user attribute, click in the Add filter above the Users list, and select an attribute.
- To filter by organization, select an organizational unit. (You might need to click at the upper left to see the organizational tree.)
- To filter by user attribute, click in the Add filter above the Users list, and select an attribute.
- (Optional) To include only selected columns in your downloaded list, set up the Users list with those columns. To add or remove columns, click Manage columns .
In a later step below, you can choose to include only these columns or all available columns in the download.
- At the top of the Users list, click Download users.
- In the Select columns section, select an option:
- Currently selected columns—Include only the columns displayed in the Users list.
- All user info columns and currently selected columns—Include all available columns in the downloaded file.
- In the Select format section, select an option:
- Google Sheets—Export the users list to Google Sheets.
- Comma-separated values (.csv)—Download the users list as a CSV file.
- JSON (.json)—Download the users list as a JSON file.
- Click Download.
The file download is added to your Tasks list. The list opens and shows the progress of the download.

Once processing is complete, click the link in the task to download or open the file, depending on the option you chose.
