What's changing?
To make Google Cloud products more available and accessible in Poland, Google is launching a local billing entity: Google Cloud Poland Sp. z o.o. As a result, Google Cloud and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts of customers with a legal address in Poland are being migrated to Google Cloud Poland Sp. z o.o.
What should I expect in my invoices and statements as a result of this migration?

You can expect to see these changes in your invoices and statements:

  • Value Added Tax (VAT) will appear as a separate line item on your invoices and billing statements.
  • If you receive invoices, they will display new remittance information.
  • Your contract will be automatically assigned to Google Cloud Poland.

Your currency and payment methods (credit card, direct debit, PayPal, invoice) won’t change.

These invoice and billing statement changes mentioned above do not apply to products for which you have chosen to be billed in installments (such as monthly, quarterly, or annually) for a fixed period of time. For such products, your invoices and billing statements will continue to be issued by Google Ireland Ltd on behalf of Google Cloud Poland Sp. z o.o. until the installment billing period expires.

Will there be any impact to my Google Cloud services?
No. Your pricing and your Google Cloud or Google Workspace services will not be affected by this migration and will continue to run as usual.
When do these changes become effective?

Existing customers who pay by invoice were migrated to Google Cloud Poland Sp. z o.o. on Monday, February 1, 2021.

Other customers were migrated to Google Cloud Poland Sp. z o.o. on Monday, March 1, 2021.

Are there any exceptions to this migration?
No. All accounts will be migrated to the new billing entity.
Do I need to do anything?

All your resources will continue to run as expected. To ensure a smooth transition, once you receive your first Google Cloud Poland Sp. z o.o. (GCPL) invoice or billing statement with the new remittance information, please adjust your internal processes to use the new bank account and bank account owner when making payments to GCPL.

If you are Value Added Tax (VAT) registered and plan to claim your VAT from local authorities, please provide us with your VAT ID (also known as your NIP number). We need your VAT ID to comply with local laws and to charge the correct VAT on your invoice.

How do I provide my VAT ID?

Please enter your VAT ID to your Payments profile by going to pay.google.com or the Admin Console (if you're a Google Workspace Admin).

If you pay by monthly invoicing, please submit your VAT ID using this form so we can update your profile for you. Please note that submissions for accounts with payment settings other than monthly invoicing cannot be processed. For those accounts, please update your payments profile by following the instructions above.

What will happen to the remaining credits on my old account?

Credit memos that were issued by Google Ireland Ltd or Google Commerce Ltd cannot be applied to open invoices issued by Google Cloud Poland Sp. z o.o. Any open account-level credits you have with Google Ireland Ltd or Google Commerce Ltd should be applied to open invoices in Google Ireland Ltd or Google Commerce Ltd. You can apply open credits in the Google payments center, or you can work with your Google representative to have those credits applied where you want.

For credits that have not been applied, refunds can be issued beginning May 2021.
