If you're having an issue casting from netflix.com, try these steps:
- Make sure your laptop is connected to your Wi-Fi network and your Chromecast is set up and connected to the same network.
- Stop what you’re currently casting from Netflix. Try casting again.
- Close the Chrome browser and relaunch it.
- Disconnect from a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or proxy server, if applicable. Chromecast cannot communicate with your laptop over these networks.
- If you are seeing an error such as Error 16003 or 16001, factory reset your Chromecast and set it up again.
- Once your Chromecast is fully set up, reopen netflix.com and try again.
