I would like to replace my defective device

If you purchased your Chromecast from Google Store or an authorized Chromecast retailer and are in need of a replacement, please contact us for assistance.

Please note:

  • Proof of purchase is required.

If you purchased your Chromecast from someone other than a Google-authorized retailer, your purchase is not covered by our warranty. Please review our Warranty policy.

Please have your Chromecast's serial number available when you call so we can assist you. Your serial number can be found on the back of your Chromecast under the HDMI logo. Before replacing your device, please be sure to perform a factory data reset on your device. A factory data reset clears your data from your Chromecast.
