Bluetooth won't connect to my headphones

I got a pair of jbl headphones some time ago and i wanted to use them with my computer. I went to the bluetooth button and pressed "pair new device" but the only device that showed up was my tv. I tried restarting my computer, turning bluetooth on and off on both devices, waiting and making sure my headphones were ready to connect to a new device but they still wouldn't show up. I followed all the steps but nothing works. I've tried a couple of times before. Didn't work.

Bluetooth Wont Pair

The first thing I would suggest would be to try a hardware reset: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3227606
Have you throughly read the device owners manual?

Have you checked the device to see if it is compatible with chrome os?

If that does not work turn off bluetooth then turn off your computer. Turn the computer completly off with the power key, not just shut the top. Then turn the Chromebook back on and turn bluetooth back on.
If that does not work, contact the manufacturer for support.

Did that fix the issue?

I have one more suggestion if the steps do not work. If the headphones are paired with other devices unpair the headphones from those devices.
