Create, view & edit bookmarks

Let Chrome remember your favorite and frequently visited websites.

When you create or change your bookmarks, they'll show in Chrome on all your devices.

Add a bookmark

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. Go to the site you want to visit again in the future.
  3. At the top right, tap More More and then Star Star.

Open a bookmark

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Bookmarks.
  3. To see bookmarks in a different folder, at the top left, tap Menu Menu and then the folder you want.
  4. Find and tap a bookmark.
Edit a bookmark
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Bookmarks.
  3. To the right of a bookmark, tap More More and then Edit.
Delete a bookmark

After you delete a bookmark, you can't get it back.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Bookmarks.
  3. To the right of a bookmark, tap More More and then Delete.
Move a bookmark to a different folder
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Bookmarks.
  3. To the right of a bookmark, tap More More and then Move.
  4. Tap the folder where you want the bookmark.

Find a lost bookmark

Deleted bookmarks can't be recovered. If your bookmark is missing for another reason, try the tips below.

Step 1: Sign in to Chrome

If you synced your bookmarks to your Google Account, make sure you're signed in to Chrome:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then Settings and then Sign in to Chrome.
  3. Tap the account where you saved the bookmark.
  4. Tap Continue and then OK, Got it.
Step 2: Check your bookmark folders

New bookmarks are saved to the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder. To check all your bookmark folders:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Bookmarks.
  3. At the top left, tap Menu Menu.
  4. Open each folder and look for your bookmark.
