Reinstall default apps on your Chromebook

If you delete one of the default apps from your Chromebook, you can reinstall it.

Tip: Select the link for the app you want to reinstall, then follow the instructions.

Reinstall apps from your Chrome browser

1. Select the links below to choose the app you want to install.
   • Maps
   • Drive
   • YouTube
   • Stadia
     • Learn where Stadia is supported

2. At the top right, select Menu     Install.
3. Select Install.

Create shortcuts from your Chrome browser

1. Select the links below to choose the app you want to install.
   • Gmail
   • Calendar
   • Docs
   • Sheets
   • Slides
   • Keep

2. At the top right, select Menu    More tools  Create shortcut. 
3. Check the “Open in window” box and then select Create.

Reinstall apps from Google Play

1. Select the links below to open the app in Google Play.
   • Photos
   • YouTube Music
   • Google TV or Play Movies & TV
   • Play Books

2. Select Install.
