Sign out of Chrome

You can sign out of your Google account from Chrome.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Profile Profile and then Sign out.

If you have sync turned on, you can turn it off. This will also sign you out of your Google account services, such as Gmail.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Profile Profile and then Syncing to [email].
  3. Under 'People' click Turn off and then Turn off.

Note: If you sign out of a Google service, such as Gmail, while syncing to Chrome, you will also be signed out of Chrome. This will pause sync until you sign back in with the same account.

  3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  4. Under 'Privacy and security', turn off Allow Chrome sign-in.

You can remove your account from one of your devices, even if you don’t have that device with you. You’ll be signed out from any computer that you’ve used before, including the one that you’re using now.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. Go to your Google account to manage apps with access to your account.
  3. Under 'Google apps', click Google Chrome and then Remove access.
