Open Chrome quickly on your phone or tablet

After you install Chrome, you can get to the app faster when you add it to your home screen or your favourite apps.

Add Chrome app to your home screen

1. From the bottom of your home screen, swipe up.
2. Touch and hold the Chrome app .
3. Drag the app where you want it and release it.

Add Chrome to your favourite apps

At the bottom of your home screen, you can find a row of favourite apps.

1. You may have to remove a favourite app to clear space.
   1. To remove an app, touch and hold the app that you want to remove.
   2. Drag the app to your home screen and release it.
2. Touch and hold the Chrome app .
3. Drag to an empty spot in your favourites and release it.

Tip: To open a new tab, an incognito tab or add widgets to your home screen, press and hold the Chrome app .
