Fill out forms automatically in Chrome

To reduce manual data entry and improve accuracy, you can use Chrome to automatically fill out online forms with saved info, like your name, passwords, addresses, and payment info. It can also use your name and email address from your Google Account to provide an easy and complete filling experience.

To use autofill, make sure you’re signed in to your Google Account in Chrome.

Manage saved form info

To access your saved info:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, select  More More and then Settings Settings and then Autofill and passwords.
    • You can also select Profile picture Profile and then Passwords and autofill.

You can manage your autofill info for forms, like:

  • Google Password Manager
  • Payments
  • Contact info
  • Identity docs
  • Travel

Add, edit, or delete your saved autofill info in Chrome

  1. Select the info you want to update, like payments, addresses, or contact info.
  2. Under each category, you can turn Save and fill [info] on or off.
  3. To add, edit, or delete info:
    • Add: At the top right of the info type, select Add.
      • Some menus have additional options and info types to choose from.
    • Edit or Delete: To the right of the saved info, select More More and then Edit or Delete.

If you add, edit, or delete an address and you’re signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, your changes are saved. These changes also show up on your other devices where you’re signed in to Chrome with the same account.

Tip: Under "Related Google services," you can also manage your Google Password Manager, Google Wallet, and Google Account.

Manage autofill payment info

If you have issues with Chrome not suggesting your saved info

  • In Chrome settings, make sure you turn on the “Save and fill addresses” feature.
  • To confirm the name and email shared from your Google Account for autofill, go to myaccount.google.com/personal-info.
  • To confirm that you’ve saved the info that doesn’t auto populate: Select More More and then Settings Settings.
  • The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome.
  • If the website is secure, Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.

Delete your saved autofill form info in Chrome

To delete all of your addresses, payment methods, or other saved info in Chrome at the same time:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, select More More.
  3. Select Delete browsing data.
  4. Choose a time range, like "Last hour" or "All time."
  5. Under "Advanced," choose Autofill form data.

This method doesn't delete payment info and addresses stored in Google Pay. Learn how to remove a payment method from Google Pay.

Fill more fields faster with enhanced autofill

Important: To use vehicle or flight info from Wallet, make sure you have saved data on wallet.google.com.

At this time, enhanced autofill is compatible with limited websites and forms.

Turn on enhanced autofill

Important: This feature stays off unless you choose to turn it on.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, select Profile picture Profile and then Passwords and autofill.
  3. Under “Autofill settings,” select Autofill settings.
  4. Turn on Enhanced autofill.
