Shopping insights & price tracking in Chrome

You can use price tracking on your phone, tablet, or computer to check for price drops on products that you want to buy.

To use the price tracking feature and receive notifications, you must:

• Live in the US
• Sign in to Chrome with your Google Account
• Sync your history
• Turn on "Make searches and browsing better"

Get price & shopping insights

With "Shopping Insights" in Chrome, you can find the price history and price range for products, including products with variants, like different colors or storage capacity, across the web.

Find price history for a product

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Go to the page of the product you're interested in.
3. In the address bar, at the top right, select Shopping Insights .
   • A side panel opens with Shopping Insights.

Tip: To track a product, in the side panel, turn on Save and Track Price.

Track price on a product page

You can track price changes of a product you want to buy.

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Go to the page of the product you want to track.
3. In the address bar, at the top right, select Bookmark .
   • Trackable products are saved to your Shopping list folder by default.
   • Track price is on by default for trackable products.
4. In the confirmation box, select Done.

Manage price tracking with Shopping list

You can find product prices and any price drops in the Shopping list under "Bookmarks".

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. On the right, select More Bookmarks and lists Show all bookmarks.
3. Select Shopping list.
4. Choose the product you want to check.
   • To untrack a product: Select More Untrack price.
   • To delete a product from your Shopping list: Select More Delete.

Tips:

• Notifications about price tracking include multiple sellers. When you track a product, the price and image from that site are available in the Shopping list.
• If you untrack a product, it’ll appear in the Shopping list unless you delete the product.

Manage price tracking email notifications

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, select More Settings Sync and Google services.
3. Under “Other Google services,” turn Get price tracking notifications on or off.

Tips:

• You can track a product without email opt-in.
• You can turn off email notifications about price tracking with the "Unsubscribe here" link in each email.

Find a Discount badge

A discount badge automatically shows on a product page with eligible discounts.

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Go to the page of the product you're interested in.
3. If a discount is available, in the address bar, at the top right, select Discount Copy the code.
4. Use the discount code at checkout by the valid date.
