You can use your Android phone or tablet to keep track of price drops on things that you want to buy. If you leave a tab open with a product that you're interested in, Chrome will show an item's updated price in your open tabs grid when the price has been dropped. When you close a tab with an indicated product price drop, Chrome will stop tracking that product on that tab.
To use the price tracking, insights features and receive notifications:
- Live in the US and Canada.
- Sign in to Chrome with your Google Account.
- Sync your history.
- Turn on 'Make searches and browsing better'.
Get price and shopping insights
You can use Shopping insights in Chrome to find the price history and price range for products on the web. This includes products with alternatives, like different colours or storage capacity.
Find the price history for a product- On your Android device, open Chrome

- Go to the page of the product.
- In the address bar, on the right, tap Price is low

- Optional: To track the product, tap Track.
Tips:
- You can track products even if notifications are off.
- To stop tracking the product, tap Tracking.

- To change mobile price notifications: Under 'Mobile', tap Settings. Turn your mobile Price drop alerts on or off.
- To change email notifications for price changes: Under 'Email', turn Send to on or off.
Check for price drops on products
- On your Android device, open Chrome

- Tap Switch tabs

- To find out if the price has dropped, at the top left of the tab of the product that you’re interested in, check for a badge. If Chrome detects a price drop, it’s displayed there.
- On your Android device, open Chrome

- At the top right, tap More
