Everytime I try to print from Chrome, (recipes from Facebook, labels from UPS, etc.) the entire browser shuts down and I can't print.  Word, Excel, etc all still print okay so I know it isn't the printer, or the connections.  Any suggestions to try?

We have heard from some users that printing is causing Chrome to shut down - though we have not been able to reproduce the issue in-house - what version of Chrome are you using? and on what operating system?

Is there a specific URL or a specific PDF that is causing Chrome to crash?

I extracted the logs of one of my devices suffering this issue, seems like Chrome Browser used HTML export, after v73 that was deprecated and they began to use PDF export:

"HTML Imports is deprecated and will be removed in M73, around March 2019. Please use ES modules instead. See https://www.chromestatus.com/features/5144752345317376 for more details.", source:  (0)

This is just happening with the Konica Minolta printer, when Chrome print preview tries to fetch a "PDF dummy" from the KM printing DLL, it crashes, probably because KM does not have PDF export.

I think you're on to something. I just can't find the information you're talking about regarding HTML Imports and version 73.

This is what I read: Import HTML documents into other HTML documents. HTML Imports are deprecated at M70, and will be removed in M75, around Jun 2019. For more info: https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/d/msg/blink-dev/h-JwMiPUnuU/sl79aLoLBQAJ

I also have Konica Drivers/printers and have sporadic problems ever since 73 was pushed out.

I found the log file you're talking about on my computer. I have sent this log to google for support. I wish it was that easy... but we'll see.

Same problem using Win 10 Pro (64 Bit) and  Google Chrome 64 bit. Crashes when trying to print to a Xerox Phaser 6010 on 3 PC's/Surface Pro"s   when using the chrome browser ( Gmail ) -

I uninstalled the 64 bit version of Google Chrome - rebooted - installed the 32 bit version - rebooted -

Now all is well. No more crashing when printing.

This version is on all my 64 Bit Windows 10 PC V 1903   //  Version 76.0.3809.100 (Official Build) (32-bit)

I hope Alphabet will get the 64 bit Chrome  fixed.  Until then the 32 bit works with no problem..

Is there any way you can take a video of the browser crashing and post it to https://crbug.com?

We will try to reproduce it once we have a video.
