Legacy Browser Support (integrated) for Windows

3. Remove LBS extension

Chrome browser version 74 and later.

For administrators who manage Chrome browser on Windows for a business or school.

If you previously deployed the Chrome Legacy Browser Support extension, we recommend that you remove the extension from the autoinstalled apps and extensions on users’ computers.

Use Group Policy

In your Microsoft Windows Group Policy Editor (Computer or User Configuration folder):

  1. Go to Administrative templatesand thenGoogleand thenGoogle Chromeand thenExtensions.
  2. Find the Extension management settings policy.
  3. In the box under Options, remove the Legacy Browser Support extension (heildphpnddilhkemkielfhnkaagiabh) from the list of force-installed apps and extensions.
