Enroll browsers with SOTI (iOS)

Applies to iOS users who use managed Chrome browser.

As a Chrome Enterprise administrator, you can use Microsoft Intune to deploy a Chrome Browser Cloud Management enrollment token and enroll your Chrome browsers. You can then use your Google Admin console to enforce policies for any users who open Chrome browser on an enrolled Apple iOS device.

Before you begin

• Make sure you have access to the SOTI Mobicontrol Console.
• Make sure you have Chrome-on-iOS enrollment configured. Go to Set up Chrome Browser Cloud Management for iOS.

Enroll browsers

Step 1: Generate the enrollment token

1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

   Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

2. Generate an enrollment token. See Generate enrollment token.

3. Copy the token to use in step 2.

Step 2: Assign the enrollment token to Chrome browser

1. Sign in to the SOTI Mobicontrol console.
2. At the top left, click the Menu icon and select Policies.
3. At the top right, click New App policy.
4. Select AppleiOS.
5. Name the policy.
6. Click the Apps tab.
7. Click the + button to go to the apps table.
8. Change the App Source to App Store.
9. Select your region
10. Search for Chrome in the search box.
    Note: Searching might take a few moments.
11. Select Google Chrome from the results list
12. Click the 3 dot menu on the left of the app name and select Configure.
13. In the navigation menu, click Managed App Config.
14. Copy the enrollment token generated in step 1 and paste it in the Application Configuration text box.
15. (Optional) Turn on the toggle to update devices that had been configured previously.
16. Click Save.
17. Click Add.
18. Click Save and assign.
19. Choose the assignment policy you want and click Assign.
