Star messages

To track important conversations in Google Chat, you can star messages. To find starred messages, go to the 'Starred' shortcut.

Star or unstar a message

1. On your computer, open Google Chat.
2. Open a conversation.
3. Hover over a message that you want to star.
4. Click More Star or Unstar.

Find your starred messages

1. On your computer, open Google Chat.
2. On the left, under 'Shortcuts', click Starred.
