Troubleshoot reminders

Your reminder doesn't appear

You might not find a reminder because:

  • You may have deleted the reminder.
  • You may have snoozed the reminder until you reached a certain location. Once you get there, you can find the reminder in the all-day section.
  • The Reminders calendar may be hidden. To show the Reminders calendar, under "My calendars," click Reminders.
You didn’t get a reminder notification

You only get notifications for reminders when they're set for a specific time. You won't get notifications for all-day reminders.

Old reminders show in your calendar

If you create reminders and don't mark them as done in the Calendar app, the Google app, or Google Keep, they appear in the "All day" section of your calendar.

To remove old reminders so they don't carry over to the next day, mark them as done.
