Options for inviting guests

Invite people who don't use Google Calendar

You can invite people who don't use Google Calendar to your event by following the steps above and inviting the person using their email address.

Invite people using Google Groups

You can invite a Google Group to your event instead of inviting people one by one. Follow the steps above and add the email address for the group. Learn more about inviting groups to your event.

See who is coming to your event

When guests receive your invitation email, they can respond using the Yes, No, or Maybe links in the email.

To see who responded to your event:

  1. Open the Google Calendar app Google Calendar.
  2. Open the event.
  3. In the "Guests" section, you'll see who is attending.
Find a meeting time

If your Google Account is through your work, school, or other group, you may see the "Find a time" button after you add guests to your event. When you tap "Find a time," you'll see suggested times based on your guests' availability.

  1. Open the Google Calendar app Google Calendar.
  2. In the bottom right, tap Create Create.
  3. Tap Event.
  4. In the "Invite people" section, add people to your event.
  5. Tap Find a time.
  6. Tap the suggested time you want to use. Tap More More menu to see the suggested time in your calendar.
  7. If there aren't any times that work, tap the time ranges at the bottom for more options.
  8. At the top of the page, tap Save.

I don't see the "Find a time" button

  • Make sure you've added guests to your event.
  • Make sure you're online.
  • Make sure the event isn't recurring.
  • Make sure the event doesn't last multiple days.
  • If you still don't see it, talk to your network administrator about your organization's calendar sharing settings. If calendars aren't shared on your network, you won't see the button.
