When you add Google Meet video conferencing to an appointment schedule, an appointment email is automatically sent that includes:
- A meeting link
- A phone number with a meeting PIN
Tips:
- If you or the person who booked an appointment with you forwards the appointment confirmation email to someone, the recipient can cancel the booked appointment.
- If you want to use a third-party video calling service, when you create the appointment, for "Location and conferencing," select None/ to be specified. After the appointment is booked, edit the booked event to add meeting info. Installation of a Google Workspace Marketplace add-on is recommended.
Before you start
- Appointment schedules are a premium feature available to Google Workspace Individual subscribers.
- If you use a work or school Google Calendar account, use either appointment slots or appointment schedules.
- Business Starter accounts don’t have access to appointment schedules.
- To set up appointment schedules, you must use a computer.
