Manage your local business links

Your Business Profile can include 2 types of links that make it easier for customers to learn more about your business. They can also take action directly from your profile on Google Maps or Search.

You can add a single link that helps customers:

  • Check a menu.
  • Review a list of services (such as telemedicine or virtual).

You can also add up to 10 links per category. Links can help customers:

  • Book an appointment.
  • Make a reservation.
  • Place a food order.
  • Place a shopping order.

Add links to your Business Profile

  1. Go to your Business Profile.
  2. To manage your links:
    • With Google Search, select Booking, Food ordering, or Pickup and delivery.
    • With Google Maps, select Edit profile and the transaction type that you want to add a link to.
  3. Select Add link.
    • If you already have links on your Business Profile, select Add another link.
  4. Enter the URL that you want to link to the button.
  5. Select Save.

Set your preferred link

If you have more than one link on your profile, you can set a preferred link at the top of your links as “Business preferred.”

  1. Go to your Business Profile.
  2. Select the transaction type, such as Booking or Pickup and delivery.
  3. Select Set preferred link.
  4. Select the link that you want to be your preferred link.
  5. Select Save.
Understand retail & shopping links
You can provide your business links on your Business Profile. To add links, select Edit profile. Local business links are not available via the Business Profile API or spreadsheet upload.

Remove third-party links

Links to certain services, like food ordering, appointments, or reservations, can automatically appear on your Business Profile through third-party partners. How you remove or hide a third-party link depends on the service type:

Hide third-party food ordering links

You can hide any third-party food ordering provider for pickup, delivery, or both directly from your Business Profile:

  1. Go to your Business Profile.
  2. Select Food ordering.
  3. Select the third-party provider you want to hide.
  4. Select Show provider to customers.
  5. Turn Show for pickup off, Show for delivery off, or both.
  6. Select Save and then Confirm. Learn more about managing online ordering options.

Remove third-party booking, appointment, or reservation links

You cannot manually delete third-party booking or reservation providers directly from your Business Profile settings. To remove a third-party booking link:

  1. Contact the third-party provider directly using the partner's designated opt-out link, support form, or account portal.
  2. Third-party providers are required to process opt-out requests within 5 business days.
  3. If the third-party provider does not remove the link within 5 business days of your request, report a third-party violation.
