Set up a password for your Google+ page

By setting up a password for a Google+ page, you're able to take advantage of numerous third party tools that link to your Google account. You'll also be able to sign in directly to the page instead of going through another account that owns or manages the page. This feature is currently not available to pages owned by Google Apps accounts or users under the age of 18.

You'll also be able to use other Google services when logged in as the page, such as YouTube and Gmail.

Set up a password

You can request a password to log in to Google+ directly as a page in order to take advantage of third-party tools.

  1. Visit Google My Business and choose the page you'd like to manage.
  2. Place your cursor in the top left corner. Click My Business > Settings.
  3. Scroll down to "Third party tools" and click Set up a password.

Note: Only a page owner can request a page password

Change your username and receive email

The automatically-generated username you receive cannot receive emails. Rather, page-related notifications will continue to be sent to the email address set for notification delivery in the page settings. Learn how to change these notification settings.

You can create a Gmail address specifically for a page, allowing you to customize the page username and receive emails at this address. First, set up your password, then visit while signed in as a page.
