Understand edit status

After you saved your changes, your edits may show up as:

Pending edits

To help keep information on Google accurate and reliable, Google may need to review your edits to ensure the information you provided is correct. It typically takes up to 10 minutes to review your edits. In some cases, the review may take up to 30 days.

Not approved edits

Understand Google updates

When Google receives reports that your business information may not be correct, we may update your profile automatically. When this happens, you will receive a notification and see an alert in the "Edit profile" section of your Business Profile. These reports come from various sources and help give customers the most accurate, up-to-date information about your business. Learn how to manage Google updates on your profile.

Unverified Business Profiles

If your profile is unverified, you can still edit some of the main business information on your Business Profile like business name, business category, address, opening hours, phone number, and website.

You may need to verify your profile before you can make edits to your information. Your edits must be approved before they can be published.
