Change history and restoring data

You can view the history of changes in a specific table by clicking on the button in the toolbar:


You can see the history of row changes, deleted rows and deleted columns.

Row changes

Row changes shows the following:

  • Who changed the data
  • Date and time of change
  • What column was changed 

You can filter on a specific column to see changes just for that column by clicking on the “Filter columns” drop down menu. 

You can also restore a value from the previous change by clicking the restore button. 

Note: You can see and restore changes up to your account's history limit , before it is no longer available.

 To view the history of changes for a specific row, you can right click on any row and select “See row history”:

 

Deleted rows 

Deleted rows show the following:

  • What row was deleted
  • Date and time of deletion 

You can also restore a row that was deleted by clicking the restore button. 

Note: Deleted rows will be permanently deleted beyond your account's history limit.

 

Deleted columns

 

Deleted columns show the following:

  • What column was deleted
  • Date and time of deletion

You can also restore a column that was deleted by clicking the restore button. 

Note: Deleted columns will be permanently deleted after 1 week.

 

Recover deleted tables and workspace

 

To recover deleted tables and workspace, you can click on the “trash” folder on the homepage. 

  • You can hover over the specific table or workspace that you want to recover and click “restore”.
  • To delete a table or workspace from the trash folder permanently, you can click on the trash button. 
Note: Deleted tables and workspaces will be permanently deleted beyond your account's history limit.
