Change the owner of a database

 

There are time when you may need to change the owner of an AppSheet database. For example, if you create a database under one account but wish to transfer it to another account.  

Notes:

• To change the owner of a database, you must be the owner.
• There can only be one database owner. When you change the owner, AppSheet changes your permission to Editor.
• You can also transfer databases between team members.

To change the owner of a database:

1. Open the database in the database editor.
2. Select Settings  > Change owner.
3. Enter the email of the new owner.
4. Click OK.
