Change your ad settings on your Android TV

You can control the personalisation settings for ads on your Android TV. You can reset your personalisation settings or you can turn off personalisation completely. You can't turn off ads on your Android TV.

Reset personalised ads on your TV

Important: When you reset your device's ad ID, advertisers start with fresh information to give you personalised ads.

1. On your Android TV, go to the home screen.
2. At the top, select Settings .
3. Select Device Preferences About.
4. Select Legal information Ads Reset Ad ID.

Turn off personalised ads

Important: When you turn off ad personalisation, you'll still get ads on your Android TV, but they won't be personalised for you.

1. On your Android TV, go to the home screen.
2. At the top, select Settings .
3. Select Device Preferences About.
4. Select Legal information Ads.
5. Turn off Ad personalisation.
