Shared location on Gmap & Gmap acess in parallel.

Hi Experts,

How to activate shared location on Android auto? I can see the person on Google map on mobile device, but the moment it get connect to the car unit/Android auto, it disappears from the map. Also, was wondering, if it is possible to open Gmap in parallel (Mobile and car units at same time)
