Dynamic search ad requirements

Dynamic search ads automatically generate ads and keywords for a campaign based on the content of a landing page. Dynamic search ads are subject to the standard AdWords policies. See below for information about AdWords policy issues that are commonly associated with this format.

Related policies and common disapprovals

The following AdWords policies are particularly relevant to dynamic search ads and are often associated with disapprovals.

Adult content

To keep ads relevant and safe for users, Google restricts adult content in certain circumstances. See the Adult content policy for more information. Dynamic search ads ads can’t contain any adult-oriented content.

Alcohol

In order to protect users, particularly underage users, ads can only contain information or promotions for alcohol under certain circumstances. See the Alcohol policy for more information. Dynamic search ads can’t contain any alcohol-related content.

Gambling and games

Content related to gambling, whether online or offline, is restricted under certain circumstances. See the Gambling and games policy for more information. Dynamic search ads can’t contain any gambling-related content.

Healthcare and medicines

Prescription drugs and other healthcare-related products and services are restricted under certain circumstances. See the Healthcare and medicines policy for more information. Dynamic search ads can’t contain any healthcare-related content.

Google may remove ads or extensions in response to trademark owner complaints. Advertisers are responsible for proper trademark use in their ad text, assets, and business information. See the Trademark policy for more information.
