Update to Restricted ad formats and features policy (September 2023)

Google previously announced that it will update its Restricted ad formats and features policy to reflect a new requirement for using click tracker services. In that announcement, we stated that starting in the week of August 28th, advertiser accounts using click trackers for the first time will only be allowed to use certified click trackers in the Tracking Template feature or their ads may be disapproved. Today, we announce that we will extend our pre-enforcement period until September 11, 2023. We will begin enforcing the policy on September 11, 2023, with full enforcement ramping up over approximately 4 weeks. For the time being, advertisers who have been using third-party click trackers prior to September 11 can continue to use the Tracking Template feature without restrictions.
