Update to advertiser identity verification policy (September 2021)

On 25 October 2021, Google will update its advertiser identity verification policy to require that once an advertiser completes advertiser identity verification, information about your Google Ads accounts and ad campaigns will be publicly available and may include:

  • Advertiser name change history
  • Ad creatives
  • Ads removed or accounts suspended for legal or policy reasons
  • Business contact information
  • Dates and locations ads served
