Dear all,

Is it allowed to show Ads within in an iframe from the same website?

This is the structure:

URL: https://www.domain1.com/page1

<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
.....content....
<ads>

.....content....
<ads> <! Is this allowed?? -->
.....content....
</iframe>

.....content....
<ads>
</body>
</html>

NOTE: why is needed to use an iframe is due to imcompatible technologies used in page1 and fragment1

Ads will be in the whole web, so there is enough information to show contextual ads.

My question is if the structure above, is forbidden by policy or not.

Note: consider that the ifame will take about 800px of height, so the goal is not to show ads, but part of the website.

Thanks,
Jose

So putting it around the other way..

Putting content in Iframes and would make it so AdSense cannot see the content to give proper adverts to users.

1) the content is in both ( in the iframe itself as week in the whole domain). Note that google is the content  of the web to show contextual ads. Anyway, the Iiframe also have enough content , actually the ideal will be the main container in the website. So, I think it won’t be a problem

2) could someone tell me if I can use an iframe as the main container in the website, with ads inside? The question is only about policy, that’s it.

Thanks,
Jose

It would be covered under webmaster guidelines.

AdSense (and even Google Search in general) wants to see content on served pages. If you iframe the content (or part of the content) then it will not be indexed/seem on that page and thus not be able to give proper advert.

There are much better ways these days such as div's, search side included content and iframe on websites are rarely used on websites these days serving content.
