Need some advice : "You need to fix some things to use AdSense"
1
Guys I am sorry to ask this here but may I suggest an improvement to your rejection email ?
Let us ask a question there, so we don't have to ask here.
Thank you for customer service ( even though I am not a customer yet )

So with this out of the way, I read through this forum and I do understand that 96% rejection rate is the current state of affairs. Not a problem, Google has a right to reject their customers.

I would still like to know what is wrong so I can grow personally and professionally. My goal is to earn money on the side by talking about my experiences and doing research and providing valuable contents to my readership.

Here are the bullet points for my rejection:
  1. False claims of downloadable or streaming content
  2. Linking to content that does not exist
  3. Redirecting users to irrelevant and/or misleading webpages
  4. Text on a page unrelated to the topic and/or business model of the website.

To #1 ? Is this wrt me creating podcasts of some of my blogs ? Is there something wrong with this ? Can you please explain. Thank you.

To #2 Is this because I have empty Categories ? I gave the blog structure which I intend in filling in over the next few weeks / months.

To #3 Don't know really. Can you provide an example from my site please.

To #4 Well I just got started, had a car accident and report about the financial impact this can have on a family. I agree that at this time, due to personal circumstances, I deviated from the main intended topic. This is so I can provide a personal perspective on spending $20k and how to get about dampening the financial impact.

I am looking for answers from you in order to correct the trajectory I am on with this blog. If my assumptions above are correct, then #2 and #4 will go away over the next few weeks as content grows and Categories are filled in.

Any additional information to #1, and #3 would be appreciated and helpful.

Best regards,

Varol

Ps. Can you please improve the on-boarding for and with us. I am quite certain that you could provide an automatic tool which scans a new site and responds with some type of indicator of the probability of being accepted. The tool could then also give more information on how to improve the quality.
I think that would save some manual labor as well.

HI
Too many such sites online already and no more are needed.
Look for other ways to monetize.
Thanks.

AdSense rejections are vague, they don't often give exact reasons. That's how it's always been. I think this is because they want to see significant holistic improvements, rather than give you a little checklist and then you are approved - it doesn't work like that.

Not necessarily all those bullet points will apply. They are "and/or" not "and".

Certainly "linking to content that does not exist" is present, for example:

The other bullet points might not apply although I have not been through your site in detail.

I'm afraid "make money online" content is rarely approved because it's rarely original. There are millions of such blogs and AdSense demands something completely new and differentiated.

Busterjet,

thanks that helps. Interestingly Google Ads just encouraged me to spend money on promoting the same blog. I understand its another division of Google but it seems from a company point-of-view you are sending mixed signals ;)

Also I read the generic response that "too many sites already exist". Is there any way you can provide a guidepost in your guidelines ? I would wager that in 2019 there are few topics which are not saturated.

Although, come to think of it, "Selling oxygen on Venus" could be a rarely used topic. I may be tempted to investigate this for AdSense purposes.

Bottom line is that my blog is unique because of me and while this may not yet be clear I will continue to work on it. Its fun, its a hobby and will become more, with or without AdSense.

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend,

Varol
