Earnings are the revenue that you accrue through your participation in AdSense. Your earnings will go through several stages during the payment timeline:
- Estimated earnings – earnings accrued throughout the month. Appears in your Home and Reports pages.
- Finalised earnings – total earnings with all invalid activity deducted. Appears in your Home and 'Payments' pages.
Note: Time zone differences can cause a slight discrepancy between your estimated and finalised earnings. Reports on your 'Home' page, including estimated earnings, are shown in your account time zone. Your finalised earnings and payments are calculated and shown in the AdSense billing time zone (America/Los Angeles). This variance in local cut-off times is why you might notice a minor difference between these two balances.
- Earnings – same as finalised earnings in your "Payments" page
- Balance – your total account balance including all your finalised earnings, debits and credits.
