New ad styles experience
We’re in the process of making some changes to improve ad styles. Please be assured that these changes won’t affect your existing ad styles.
Here's a summary of the changes:
- New predefined Google styles
We're introducing a new set of redesigned preset ad styles for you to apply to your new and existing ad units. See examples
- Old predefined Google styles
If you’re using our older predefined ad styles, such as “Classic grey” or “High contrast white” etc., you’ll find these listed with your custom ad styles. We’ll make these older styles available to you for as long as you’re using them, but be aware that we’re gradually phasing them out, so if you stop using an old ad style it will no longer be available to you.
- Ad unit-specific styles
To make it easier for you to manage your ad unit-specific styles, i.e., any ad styles that you created for individual ad units but didn’t saved as custom ad styles, we’re going to automatically convert them into custom ad styles for you. Your new custom ad styles will appear as either “<your_ad_unit_name> style” or “Custom style <number>”, depending on whether you applied the style to one or several ad units.
Note that your own experience of these changes may vary slightly as we're rolling them out incrementally over the coming weeks.
