Policy notification on your Home page

If you see a policy notification in a red bar on your Home page, it means that we've detected that your page or site is not in compliance with the AdSense program policies. Clicking on the View details link in the policy notification will take you to the “Policy violations” section in your account, where you’ll find information about the specific violation, any steps that we’ve already taken, and the action that you need to take.

We only show a red bar on your Home page for violations that we’ve detected within the last 31 days.

Access your policy notifications

To access your policy notifications at any time: sign in to your AdSense account, click Settings, then click Status. In the “Policy violations” section, you can view a complete history of policy notifications for your account, which includes all policy notifications that you’ve received since 2010. To view more information about a particular violation, expand the notification by clicking its plus button .

Consequences

Depending on the type of policy notification that you receive, there are two possible actions that we may take:

Consequence Description What you need to do What happens if you don’t take action
Warning One of your sites is not currently in compliance with the program policies. You need to make changes to your site to bring your site into compliance. We may spot-check your site again for compliance. Once you’ve made the changes, click the Mark resolved button in the “Policy violations” section and complete the short form to let us know what changes you've made.
For more information, see: policy notification asking to make changes to your site.
Please be aware that if changes are not made within the required time frame, ad serving will be disabled to your site.
Suspension Your account has been suspended due to an AdSense program policies violation. Use the suspension period to investigate the sources of invalid activity, identify and block suspicious traffic, and put measures in place to ensure your ad traffic complies with our guidelines and policies. Learn more about invalid clicks and keeping your account in good standing.

During the suspension, no ads are shown, your payments are on hold, and your latest revenue may be deducted from your account and refunded to advertisers.

After the suspension period, we’ll automatically re-enable ad serving, remove the payment hold and monitor your account to ensure compliance. Note that account suspensions are unappealable.

If you continue to violate our policies after the suspension period then your account will be disabled.
Ads disabled on your page One of your pages is not currently in compliance with the program policies and, as a result, ad serving has been disabled to that page. Check your page to ensure that it's in compliance with our policies.
For more information, see: ad serving was disabled to your page.
Please note that we reserve the right to disable ads to your site or disable your account at any time if we continue to see violations occurring.
