Remove, deactivate and activate channels

You can remove, deactivate or reactivate custom channels and URL channels.

Remove a channel

Removing a channel deletes it from performance reports.

  1. Visit the custom or URL channel page.
  2. Select the check box next to the channel you want to remove.
  3. Click the Actions drop-down and select Remove.

Deactivate a channel

When you deactivate a channel, our system stops collecting data on it, but it’s saved in performance reports. You can always activate it again if you want to begin collecting data on it.

  1. Visit the custom or URL channel page.
  2. Select the check box next to the channel you want to deactivate.
  3. Click the Actions drop-down and select Deactivate.

Activate a channel

When you activate a deactivated channel, our system begins collecting data on it again.

  1. Visit the custom or URL channel page.
  2. Select the Show: deactivated check box.
  3. Select the check box next to the channel you want to activate.
  4. Click the Actions drop-down and select Activate.
