AdSense will expand testing of the FLEDGE API and begin rendering ads on a small percentage of traffic globally on or after 24 September 2022. There is no publisher revenue impact expected at this stage.
Please note that during this initial testing phase, the blocking control for animated display ads will not apply, meaning animated ads may serve via FLEDGE even if you’ve enabled the blocking control.
If you would like to turn off access to FLEDGE on your sites, you can do so via Chrome’s permission policy header.
Please note, the use of Topics and FLEDGE is subject to Google’s EU User Consent policy requirements (e.g. obtaining users’ legally valid consent for the collection, sharing and use of personal data for ads personalization).
