Change your Ads Creative Studio account settings

You make changes to your Ads Creative Studio account settings, such as account details, display language, and number format. Keep in mind that adjusting these settings won’t change how people see your creative projects on other ad platforms.

Your country and time zone are permanently set when you set up your account. These settings can't be updated.

To view and change your account settings:

  1. Sign in to Ads Creative Studio.
  2. Click Settings and thenPreferences.
  3. Click to expand the setting or preference you want to change, then change it or select a different setting. See below for more details about each setting.
  4. Click Save for each section you changed.

Preferences and settings

Display language

Your display language is the language you see within Ads Creative Studio. By default, your account will use your Google Account language. If you prefer, you can set and use a different language for Ads Creative Studio. This language setting will also change the language you use for other ads products, including Google Ads and Search Ads 360. 

Number format

Your number format changes how periods and commas are used when Ads Creative Studio displays a number. For example, 2,000.50 vs. 2.000,50.

Not every possible number format is available for every display language. Also, some display languages let you choose only one number format, so depending on your language, your number format might not be editable.

Account name

The account name is the name that everyone who has access to this account will see.

Business or team name

Your business or team name is the name you use to refer to your creative agency, business, group, or team.

Business type

Your business type describes your business. Select either "creative agency" (if your business is an independent creative agency), or "in-house agency" (if your creative team works directly for the advertiser).

Country & time zone

Your country and time zone are permanently set when you set up your account, and can't be updated. If your business has moved to another country, you'll need to create a new account:
  1. Create a new account.
  2. Fill in your account info and enter the new country name and time zone.

Account status

Your current account status is shown in this section. You can deactivate your Ads Creative Studio account at any time.
To deactivate your account, click Deactivate my account. If you've exported assets or projects to other products, they won't be affected. After your account is deactivated, you can reactivate it any time for up to 10 years.
