How to Become a Product Expert?
  1. Sign up - Get started by signing up with your Google Account.
  2. Help out - Get noticed by helping others in the Google Help Communities
  3. Earn perks - Achieve status by helping others and become eligible for program perks. We will reach out to you when you are eligible.

What are the different statuses and perks?
Silver Product Expert:
Become eligible for Silver Product Expert status once you start helping users in the Google Help Communities. Perks include:
  • Access to private community of Product Experts to meet and learn from one another
  • Direct connection with Googlers to receive product updates and provide feedback

Gold Product Expert:
Earn Gold Product Expert status after you’ve demonstrated your passion for Google products by consistently providing helpful and high quality answers. Perks include:
  • All previously listed perks
  • Virtual Hangouts with Googlers and fellow Product Experts
  • Eligibility for beta testing opportunities and events

Platinum Product Expert:
Platinum Product Expert Status is reserved for our most seasoned experts. You must be Gold for a minimum of one year and have a specialized interest in contributing to our community. Perks include:
  • All previously listed perks
  • Additional opportunities to contribute and connect with Google
