Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about policy notifications.

I received a notification. What should I do next?

The notification that you received should contain details regarding the policy issue and the app id on which we found the problem. Please read the notification carefully and make any appropriate changes to your app to resolve the problem. In some cases, it may require changing the implementation of your ads. Bear in mind that the app referred to in the notification is just one example of where we found the issues. You should also review any other apps in your account, as they may have the same or similar issues that haven't yet been detected.

What happens if I don't make changes?

Please be aware that if you do not make changes to bring your app into compliance, ad serving may be disabled to your app.

If ad serving has already been disabled to your app, then please make the appropriate changes and contact us for reconsideration.

What if I can’t complete the changes in a timely manner?

If you can't complete your changes and violations are still found, ad serving may be disabled to your app. However, even though ad serving may be disabled, you may continue to update your app and contact us for reconsideration after your changes are complete.

I need clarification regarding the policy that my app is violating. What should I do?

In the Policy centre of your AdMob account, you can learn more about the policies in violation by clicking each of the policy names. This will provide more information about how to identify and fix the cause of the violation.
