Set interstitial frequency capping for apps & ad units

Interstitial frequency capping lets you limit the number of times interstitial ads appear to the same person. When you set interstitial frequency capping for an entire app or a specific ad unit, you specify a limit to the number of impressions you'll allow per minute, per hour, or per day for an individual user.

Note the following:
  • A change to frequency capping, such as changing the cap from two to three, can take up to a day to take effect.
  • A slight server delay can occasionally result in the frequency cap that you've set being exceeded.
  • The number of interstitial ads a user will see in an app is dependent upon both the ad unit-level and app-level frequency caps.
