Block ads by advertiser URL

You can prevent ads from specific advertiser URLs from showing up in your apps.

The maximum number of advertiser URLs you can block is a combined total of 500 for all of your apps and your account. 

Example: You block 5 advertiser URLs for your account. Then, you block an additional 50 advertiser URLs for one of your apps. Now you have blocked 55 of your 500 advertiser URL limit.

Complete the following steps to block ads by advertiser URL:

 

App-level blocking

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://apps.admob.com.
  2. Click Apps in the sidebar.
  3. Select the name of your app. If you don't see it in the list of recent apps, you can click All apps to search a list of all of the apps you've added to AdMob.
  4. Click Blocking controls under Apps in the sidebar.
  5. Click Advertiser URLs.
  6. Enter the advertiser URLs in the box provided.
  7. Click Block URLs. Ads from blocked URLs should stop showing in your app within 24 hours.

Account-level blocking

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://apps.admob.com.
  2. Click Blocking controls in the sidebar.
  3. Click Advertiser URLs.
  4. Enter the advertiser URLs in the box provided.
  5. Click Block URLs. Ads from blocked URLs should stop showing in your apps within 24 hours.

  2. Click the Monetize tab.
  3. Select your application from the All apps list on the left-hand side.
  4. Click the Allow & block ads tab.
  5. Click Advertiser URLs.
  6. Enter the advertiser URLs in the box provided.
  7. Click Block URLs. Ads from blocked URLs should stop showing in your app within 24 hours.

Account-level blocking

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://apps.admob.com.
  2. Click the Monetize tab.
  3. Click All apps on the left-hand side.
  4. Click the Allow & block ads tab.
  5. Click Advertiser URLs.
  6. Enter the advertiser URLs in the box provided.

The examples below show how a specific URL can either broadly or narrowly block ads from pages. Ads from URLs in green are blocked, while those in standard black text are still eligible to appear.
